Hannah Gauntlett

My work combines a range of mixed media techniques including photographic transfer, collage and printmaking on various supports from canvas , wood to sheets of oxidized metal. Inspired by the changing urban and rural landscapes of Wiltshire and Italy. My practice balances movement and stillness, structure and fragility. Through layered surfaces and tactile processes. I aim to create spaces of reflection, where the viewer can sense the tension between contructed and organic worlds.

The studio is in the historic farm buildings of the stunning location of Brimslade Farm which boasts listed buildings and 500 year old trees. You can enjoy the canal walk at Brimslade lock.

Arriving from Pewsey head east on the A345 towards Wootton Rivers. Go through the village towards the A346, you will find Brimslade Farm driveway on the right.
Leaving Marlborough on the A346 turn right after the big oak tree towards Wootton Rivers, Brimslade Farm driveway is on the left.
Follow signs down the driveway to the farmyard studio.
