Cityscapes and landscapes are prominent in my new collection at this year's Marlborough Open Studios. I've just returned from Umbria in Italy where I completed a commission to design and paint two murals in a recently restored property. My work is wide ranging both in the subjects I cover and the techniques and medium I use. Space, texture, movement, light, and interpretation interact with each other to create a work of art but art can also be functional. That's why I'll be showing some handpainted screens: perfect to divide a room or conceal a corner! Paintings of all sizes and signed giclée prints will also be exhibited.
