Sarah Burton
The process of painting is often as important to me as the outcome. I do not want my work to be representational but I am not necessarily aiming for abstraction either. I enjoy re-arranging the composition and layering the paint to gain the effect I want. I choose colour to add drama and I like brush marks to be visible and a part of the finished work.
