I'm very pleased to be sharing a studio space with Pascale Stacey again this year. I'll be showing my latest project called Tessellate. It is inspired by Islamic tile work, geometry and artists like MC Escher, and involves rotating, flipping and repeating my photographic images to create intricate and unexpected new patterns. These patterns are infinite in scale yet beautiful in their simplicity, and are both satisfying and intriguing in equal measure.
