I will be showing new work from my Standing Stones series and other Wiltshire landscapes, including paintings I call my "Water Jewels," as well as Cornish seascapes. I paint on large and small canvases and boards and on paper, using oils, acrylics and mixed media. The light in my work sometimes fills the composition and sometimes appears as a glint in dark water.

During Open studios visitors will see work in progress on the easel and some of my sketchbooks.

If you'd like to try out using oil and cold wax, one of my favourite mediums, please contact me for more details and to book a place on one of my workshops on Thursday 11 or Thursday 18 July. Places have to be limited so booking is essential

Parnella House is in the centre of Devizes, 23 The Market Place, right by the cinema and bus stops.

There is plenty of parking on The Market Place, on local streets and other public car parks.

My studio is on the first floor and there will be directional signs to help you find all the different artists opening at Parnella House for Marlborough Open Studios
