Charles Rodwell

I began with an excellent art education at Marlborough College and trained at the Slade School of Fine Art 1974 -78, I have made a career from painting. I use oil, watercolour and simple print techniques, my subjects are abstractions of the seen world working in the local landscape and colourful figurative work based on travels to India and other destinations. This hilltop studio is full of work spanning 30 years, ranging from small watercolours and wood engravings to large oil compositions. Drive west along the A4 through Calne, after about 1 mile turn right signposted Bremhill and Ratford, continue on for 2.4 miles turn left to Charlcutt and the studio is 0.4 mile on the left opposite a large barn conversion.
