Mary Wilkinson

My work includes landscapes and seascapes in oils and pastels. Through my paintings I explore the underlying structure of the land, the power of the sea and the transient qualities of both in relation to light and the elements to discover the mystery of landscape. My work is based on a direct experience of nature to evoke a spirit of place and the ongoing passage of time. I exhibit regionally and in London and receive many corporate and private commissions. Chittoe is a small hamlet situated off the A342 if coming from Marlborough or Devizes. Take the turning marked Spye Park and Chittoe and follow the lane. Carry on past the Single Track sign, past The Old Vicarage on your left and I am the first cottage after this on the right.
