The forms and surfaces of an ancient maple tree at Crofton have been a great source of inspiration for a series of drawings, paintings, and etchings over the past few months. Directions: Alternative route! - From Bedwyn go towards Crofton Beam engines, bearing right at the end of Church St. into Crofton Road. 200 yards along a track crosses, turn left here and park. Cross railway & canal and turn right along towpath - studio on left 300 yards along.
