Textile Artist & Designer

Jane is an artist currently working with wax and dye to make textile panels using the techniques known as Batik. Study visits to various parts of the world inform the colour and imagery used with interpretation influenced by techniques possible with wax resist and dyestuff onto fabric and paper. The studio set up needed to undertake this art form will be on display. Workshop opportunities can be discussed during open studios and throughout the rest of the year by arrangement.
