2017 is proving even busier than usual for Ann as it sees the launch of her new online tuition programme 'Pencil Potential' and her new 'Creative Colour Mixing Workbook'. She has also produced five new Limited Edition Giclee Prints to add to her growing collection. Ann she is now one of this country’s leading botanical artists working primarily in coloured pencil and graphite and as such she travels extensively teaching around the world, this year visiting Spain, France and the USA. Ann is a more contemporary botanical artist so her work is embued with a strong sense of design nevertheless still taking hours of painstaking observation. She is a keen gardener, so make time to stroll around her densely packed Victorian walled garden from which she takes much inspiration. She has been awarded 4 RHS Gold Medals and her work is in the prestigious Shirley Sherwood Collection and in the RHS Lindley Library She holds regular workshops at her studio in Rowde and shares her techniques in her book ‘Botanical Painting with Coloured Pencils’. She also runs an online shop selling the equipment she recommends in her teaching. Her work has been reproduced as greetings cards, fine prints and ceramics. In her spare time she also designs and makes jewellery using semi precious stones, stirling silver and leather.
