Open Studios is a friendly group, welcoming practising artists and makers to exhibit from their studios or workshops or pop-up galleries within our catchment area, subject to a successful (free) application. The catchment area is from Calne to Hungerford and from Devizes to Wroughton including all the villages in between. Click here for the catchment area.
Applicants will need to submit 10 good quality photographs of their work (Work older than 3 years is not accepted) together with a short artist's statement, cv, and a brief description of their studio/space.

EXHIBITING artists are open for visitors during July weekends; they pay an annual fee to be included in the summer open studio trails, full brochure entry (9000 print run), full website listing*, scheme promotion, 'Buddy' assistance for newcomers and a 'Preview Show @ Mount House Gallery',** space and social media exposure and own website listing. Exhibitors receives a password into the website's members' area which includes pricing advice, open studio guidance, code of conduct, graphics packages, important dates etc.
ASSOCIATE artists have been selected or are past exhibiting MOS members but choose not to be part of the current year's art trail. They pay an annual fee for a half brochure entry (9000 print run), are open by appointment, have an OS website listing and are included in the 'Preview Show @ Mount House Gallery'**. Associates receive a password into the website's members' area which includes pricing advice, open studio guidance, code of conduct, graphics packages, important dates etc.
* Website listings are managed by the artist who will recieve simple instructions on how to edit it. 8 images maximum and unlimited text.
** Preview Showcase is subject to the Marlborough College timetable and is not guaranteed.
